Learn how JabWatch records UK pharmacy prices, handles discount codes, labels availability and keeps the comparison useful when listings change.

Prices and timestamps

Prices are recorded from pharmacy websites and shown with the date they were last verified. The standard price is kept separate from promotional pricing so readers can see what may apply after an introductory offer ends.

Discounts and total cost

A discount is only applied when it has a source and passes the relevant dose, drug, expiry and offer-type checks. First-order and ongoing discounts are shown separately. Delivery or consultation charges are not silently folded into a medicine price when they are not published as included.

Availability

Out-of-stock offers are not allowed to become the lowest available price. Pre-order and coming-soon listings are labelled explicitly, and an unavailable offer is not presented as an orderable bargain.

Limits of the data

Pharmacies can change prices, terms and stock without notice. JabWatch is a comparison service, so confirm the final price and prescription terms on the pharmacy website before ordering.
